Summary
This proposal aims to increased the Fields cap for the ANC-UST strategy.
Abstract
We propose to increase the Fields caps for the ANC-UST strategy from 5M UST (current cap) to 10M UST. With this increase, the new ANC-UST strategy cap would be ~8% of the size of the ANC-UST Astroport pool, which is in line with the other caps recently proposed for LUNA-UST and MIR-UST.
Motivation
Increasing the caps for this strategy will allow Fields to grow and thus, Mars borrow demand to increase. While the ANC-UST strategy had been previously under-utilized, its utilization has been increasing recently and is currently maxed out, reflecting demand for the strategy.
Risks
The risks involved with increasing the caps for this strategy are the same as those explored in our previous proposal, MRC-3. As with that proposal, we believe the risks associated with increasing the caps for ANC-UST are low. To avoid repeating the same analysis here, we encourage community members interested in further understanding this assessment to review the Risks section of MRC-3, which apply to this proposal as well.
